Teaching
Coming from a family of teachers, having a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge feels natural. Passing on the joy of playing music and having a fascination with the learning process means I have always thoroughly enjoyed teaching.
Performance
Growing up in Manchester and being involved with rock acts early on, my playing then matured towards jazz and blues styles as I studied music at college and university. I then became more interested in doing session playing and function bands as I worked on becoming a more versatile guitarist and improviser.
